GET THINGS DONE

Procrastination is the biggest cause of loss of self-esteem!

What is self-esteem? Confidence in your own worth or abilities; self respect; ability and trust in self to overcome obstacles - all very necessary to get what we want from life!

 Putting things off prevents us from being ‘in the flow’. All those half-done things or things not done cause blockages which prevent creativity, energy, opportunity and money from flowing.

The only way to get them done is to do them! And the longer you leave it the more backlog you’ll have and the heavier and more stuck you’ll feel!

Give up TV, evening drinks or socialising for a week or 2 (you may not even need that long), wake up early, work weekends, do whatever it takes to get the backlog sorted.

 

EfficientSTOP AVOIDING (in the quest to get things done!)

Inevitably the things we don’t get done are the things we don't enjoy doing or don't know how to do.  And they are also the important things - the things that would take us closer to our goals!  Those things that add value to our lives, the things we HAVE to do to have what we want!

We distract ourselves from taking care of what’s important – quickly responding to those emails and sms’s, ‘having’ to help someone else, squeezing in that quick phone call just before you sit down to tackle something important … and then what …? Well, then you run out of time to do the important stuff, right? And even though your intention is to get it done ’later’ or ‘tomorrow’, do you, or do you push it out again?

Do what’s important and you will feel a lot more peace, clarity and certainty, you will be more relaxed and a lot more present - you will have that wonderful feeling of satisfaction.

 

INCREASE YOUR PERSONAL POWER

Keep your agreements!  It's the only way people know how to trust you - so do it!

And when others trust you they gravitate towards you, you're able to cause a lot more of what you want and you're able to positively influence others.

My research indicates that most people only keep 10-30% of their agreements they make with themselves. Think about how you effect yourself and others when you don't keep your agreements.  What is it doing to you?  What are you doing to your children, to your partner or spouse?  What are you doing to your colleagues?!

Note:  it's easier to keep agreements with others as we care about what they think and we are held  more accountable.  However, the key to your personal power boost will lie in keeping more agreements you make with yourself!  Try it - just for a week, and see what happens,

 

BIG TIP: INVEST IN YOURSELF AND HIRE A COACH!

I know you will read this and recognise the truth of it, and I also know you have applied this at various intervals in your life and you may be applying it in certain areas of your life right now.
